HISTORY of MMS

Owner, Michael, has been in the moving business since the 1980s. Between being in delivery service, commercial / office, household moving, working on small and large van lines and piano moving industries.  He had gathered the techniques and experience to make an excellent Mover.
In the late 1980's, he ventured off on his own to form a moving company that can do it all. As the industry trends changed, so did the business, and with the housing boom in the late 90s, he had focused on household and office moving, from Maine to Florida. which would guide the next decade of his profession and career.
In the early 1990s he had brought his youngest brother, Patrick, into the business, with moving both houses and Pianos.  Patrick, in his teenage years, learned the techniques and extras to be a piano mover.
As the years went on, Patrick had continued on the piano moving direction, forming Tri-state NJ piano moving. Where he began to pursue mastering the art of piano moving and the formula for a piano moving and delivery company. Which are specialized operation in itself.
While working together as separate entities, with frequent referrals between them, they formed into one company with several different operations.
In 2005 they formed MMS, and continue to operate today under one banner, that specialize in several aspect of home household moving goods. From pianos to antiques to large objects.  
Through the years of operation, they have formed a strong contact list that enables them to travel up and down the east coast and often out towards the states along the great lakes and southward.  Our client base from the northeast to the mid-Atlantic to Southeastern states, has allowed us to Keep a small business but grow as a family from the office to the employees. We have been working with each other from as long as 20 years ago to as recently as 5 years.
More goes into the building of a sound company, that has taken on any resource available. Thankfully with supporting family we have been able to utilize all of our expertise to make this a long-lasting company. Hard to mention every sacrifice all of us have made.
From parents that believed in everything we did, to our oldest brother, Robert, with a professional career in computer Networking and team leadership, who launched our internet marketing into play. To our brother James, who is career in Military, Carpentry in his earlier years to working within the elevator's union of NY, who is now help maintaining us organize the operations the office, to crate building, to trouble shooting any mechanical issue that may arise.
To the countless cousins and friends, that were able to participate, more importantly that have been a part of our journey, it truly takes a community to make anything that is worthwhile doing. We thank you all,
